If you were sent a text mentioning contact4me, it has a reference on the end. Put it in here with your own mobile number and we will tell you whether we sent it.
Why we have your number
Somebody who knows you typed it in. They chose you as a person they would want reached if they ever lost their phone and needed help. We did not buy it, find it, or get it from anywhere else.
We hold your number, a label — usually a first name — and a code word so you can tell a real message from a scam. Nothing else: no surname, no address, no email. It is encrypted, never sold and never shared, and we would only ever text you if that person asked us to.
If you would rather we did not have it, reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any text from us. It is immediate and permanent, you do not have to give a reason, and we tell the person who added you so they can find somebody else.
